JAG and VAWA Regional Grant Bidders Conferences Announced
Those interested in applying for upcoming Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) or Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) funding are encouraged to attend a regional conference, which will be followed by additional training. Bidder trainings will cover specific information included in the Request for Proposals and is intended to answer any questions related to applications for funding. Early registration is encouraged. The JAG and VAWA solicitations are set to be released May 30.

ODPS Focuses on Teen Dating and Intimate Partner Violence
Teenage dating and intimate partner violence are forms of domestic violence that are an unfortunate reality for many Ohioans. During National Crime Victims' Rights Week, which is April 13-19, the Ohio Department of Public Safety's Office of Criminal Justice Services (OCJS) is highlighting services that are available to help individuals escape abusive situations and rebuild their lives.

Public Safety Raises Awareness for Child Abuse as Part of Crime Victims' Rights Week
Child abuse and neglect have lasting effects on children and can carry through to their adult life. During National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, April 13 – 19, ODPS' Office of Criminal Justice Services is asking all Ohioans to become educated so individuals can spot signs of child abuse and/or neglect.
