Traffic Crash Facts |
Every year, the Ohio Department of Public Safety compiles statistical data on crashes that occur on Ohio’s roads and highways. The Ohio Department of Public Safety designed this information and the manner in which it is presented to be user-friendly as well as helpful in tracking public safety trends. |

Crash Data Information |
This will allow a search of crash data by county, FIPS code, or agency identifier. It allows for either a full extract or a Trac Tape. The full crash extract documentation provides a detailed listing of each of the major data tables: CRASHES, UNITS and PEOPLE, as well as the codes found within those tables. The Trac Tape has been selected as the basis for most end-user access to the crash data files, and is also provided as a routine format of exporting data for use on PCs. |
